Experience
Melinda joined Blazek & Vetterling in 2011 and became partner in 2025. She began her career working in nonprofit organizations as a Development Officer, fundraising for The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. This experience brought a unique set of skills to the firm in its work with nonprofit organizations.
Melinda dedicates her time serving a wide variety of organizations. These include, but are not limited to, private foundations, private schools, churches, arts and conservancy organizations, and social service agencies. She also works closely with our staff in the firm's internal training and evaluations process.
In addition to helping clients with financial statement audits and reviews, she also has significant experience helping organizations that receive federal funding with single audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance.
